Prayer

Its wonderful to share on another very important topic with you all - Prayer Pray er is very important in our life, its like breathing. It gives us life, just like air gives freshness to our body, prayer gives life to our soul. Prayer is having conversation with our Heavenly Father. I love talking to my father. I can talk to him on any subject. He never tells me it's boring, or He’s busy  or alright that's enough, He always listens, He tells me go head you can tell me all you want, I'm listening. Isn’t that amazing, that’s our Father in heaven. I consider it, an awesome feeling when I talk to my father in heaven.  There are some prayers our Heavenly Father hears and answers immediately and some  take time, and still a few prayers he may never give you an answer here on this side of Eternity, because he knows what's best for you and me. There's special place for a woman’s prayers in the Bible. Like Hannah prayed for  Children God heard, The widow cried to Jesus,

My Son and Me

My beloved son Vijay Peter Dhanraj went home to be with the Lord Jesus on 18th Sept, 2018. Its been 2 years..... So today with a heavy heart I am writing about my son Vijay and me. Indeed it was a real joy to have a son like Vijay. As he was growing up, it was like having Jesus in our home. Never once I remember him saying no to anything we asked him to do. He was a very obedient son. Early in his life he took on the responsibilities of the family.  I remember one time when he was about 4 years old, I had to stay awake taking care of one of my other sons who was a baby, at that time,Vijay was sitting up coughing, I got up to bring water,Vijay told me, mummy you sit with the baby I'll go get it myself.  He is very thoughtful of other’s need. He was hardworking, sincere, faithful & honest. He was a such a blessing wherever God took him. He never asked anything for himself even things like food, clothes, toys etc., he never got what he liked, when he was growing up, he gave up ma

Tips for Mothers - Part 3

Greetings to you once again my dear mothers, sharing a few more tips and encouragement on our journey of motherhood, I pray the Lord bless and encourage your hearts. Once again, I want to encourage all the mothers, that we are pre-selected and fortunate to be called mother or mummy. Let’s enjoy it. Coming to the point of bringing up our children for God is not difficult dear mothers, if we have God on our side, The Bible says children are gift from God then why will he not help us to preserve this gift whom he gave us. We have to ask him to give us wisdom and patience, to help our children. We have to be firm and at the same time, we also have to be gentle when we speak to them, especially when they are in their teens. I've read an article by William booth who wrote about raising up godly children, and it was something to this effect, when your children ask something, please don't give it to them at once, make them wait for at least one day, through this they'll learn to wa

Tips for Mothers - Part 2

Original Post published on Sept 2, 2020 Yes again I repeat its an amazing feeling to be a mother. Whenever my children calls me mummy, I feel elated in my spirit, I love to hear it again and again, because very soon they'll grow up and leave home either to study or for a new job or they will get married and leave your home, then you will not hear that beautiful voice again so let's enjoy their presence when they are at home growing up doing all kind of naughty little things making a noise etc. I always love to have my children at home when they were growing up. Never once I felt they are troublesome or a nuisance. We enjoyed their presence always. Children are active only to a certain age .They will  calm down, their innocent behavior might disturb our sleep, work etc so dear  mothers it will all disappear once they reach a certain age, so let's give our time to our children now and when we get old they will give their time to us.  Never complain about your children to othe

Tips for Mothers - Part 1

Original Post written & published on August 24, 2020 Well, I have been contemplating for a long time to write and share my experiences and tips to help mothers as they navigate through the journey of motherhood. Firstly, let me tell you, it's an awesome feeling to be a mother. It's a great gift from God. Many want to become but they cannot . We have to value that gift, which is one of the greatest gift in the whole world. No man can give, no other God can give, except the Lord Jesus Christ, because the Bible says "The fruit of the womb is His reward" So let me acknowledge that I've been blessed with seven children in the space of ten years. I have been blessed with 3 beautiful girls and 4 handsome boys who are all born again disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and are blessed mightily by the Lord in more ways than I can express and for that I give all the glory to God. I am a blessed Mother. Here is a picture of my family taken on Jan, 2018. Children are gift
